Litigation

In many cases, we can resolve disputes without going trial, thus avoiding the negative publicity and costs associated with litigation. During our firm’s 35 year history, we have successfully tried numerous matters to the court as well as to Jurys and handled many Appellate Cases including matters pending before the Missouri Supreme Court.

Missouri Sunshine Law

Missouri fosters openness in government through the Sunshine Law, which states “It is the public policy of this state that meetings, records, votes, actions, and deliberations of public governmental bodies be open to the public unless otherwise provided by law.”

Sometimes there is a fine line between communications that should and must be disclosed and communications that may remain confidential. Our attorneys possess an in depth understanding of the Sunshine Law, and are well qualified to advise clients on compliance and potential legal ramifications of non-compliance.
